Your Manly Massage Therapy treatment will involve a combination of different massage modalities,
depending on your individual needs and likes. Our massage therapists are
highly-skilled at identifying the appropriate modalities for your needs and will
also recommend other dietary and/or lifestyle changes where appropriate.
Manly Massage Therapists also have a strong ongoing relationship with many of
the area’s finest health professionals (including naturopaths, chiropractors,
osteopaths, physiotherapists and yoga / Pilates schools), which we can refer you
to should your requirements be outside of our scope of treatment.

| Remedial Massage |
| Massage which is specifically tailored towards alleviating the symptoms
associated with common musculoskeletal conditions including Lower Back pain,
Neck pain, Frozen Shoulder, Tennis Elbow, Carpal Tunnel, Sciatica and more.

| Sports Massage |
| Pre-event sports massage will stimulate and prepare you both physically
and mentally for your event, whilst post-event sports massage helps to
increase recovery time by assisting in the removal of metabolic wastes from
your muscles. |

| Deep Tissue Massage |
| Massage technique that uses firm pressure in order
to release chronic tension resulting from ‘locked’ muscles and/or joints. |

| Myofascial Release |
| An advanced style of massage which is specifically used to restore your
posture and balance through releasing of the connective tissue (or ‘fascia’)
that surrounds your muscles. |

| Trigger Point Therapy |
| Another advanced style of massage which aims to
de-activate ‘trigger points,’ or hypersensitive spots within certain muscles, in
order to help the muscles relax back to their natural state. |

| Pregnancy Massage |
| A gentle form of massage specially attuned to the needs of a
pregnant woman after the first trimester. Certain positions are used to keep
comfort in mind. |
